Fine, but what does 'the information is correct' mean? That according to
the ONF public relations OF is a dead end?
Depending on where, it may be. But there is a considerable base installed -
just think about how many OSes use OVS as their
low level networking component-, so I fear it will not die away as quickly
as some would like. ;-)

Has someone a pointer to early stratum PoC code (whatever this means)?

I'm using the P4 training resources and know that ONOS has a P4 module
(which I've not been able to start).
And I also know there are some tries at Ryu supporting the SWIFT interface
(which would be the closest to support P4).
Is that the way to move forward?
