Herbert, I do not believe so. Ryu SBI is OpenFlow based and therefore Ryu controls the forwarding plane of switches through the OpenFlow control plane. P4 is a language to manipulate the data forwarding plane for Protocol Independent System Architecture (PISA). I believe to experiment you will need to use the A Programmable, Protocol Independent Software Switch (PISCES) ( http://pisces.cs.princeton.edu/), a variant of the OvS switch until such time as the Stratum project outputs PISA hardware.
