Hi all,

my name is Jan and i am one of the maintainers of BISDN Linux, a
completely free and open source NOS.

BISDN Linux itself relies on the Yocto project to build, runs on a
couple of whitebox switches and we have recently open sourced all the
components that are needed so that everybody can build it for themselves
(https://github.com/bisdn/bisdn-linux). What exactly is contained in
BISDN Linux and which features and platforms are currently supported is
documented here: https://docs.bisdn.de.

Since by default we ship Ryu as one of two options for an on-switch
OpenFlow SDN controller, i just wanted to let you guys know that we are
actively using it and are grateful for all the development work that you
put into it.

So to keep it brief here: Thank you!

Cheers,

Jan

PS: If you ever feel like adding a section for "use cases" or something
similar to the docs, let me know and i am happy to write up something
about how we use it.
