Presuming one is using RYU will fully updated packages of other software
such as mininet, etc., but that's not always a given.

At a minimum, a note in the docs would be useful for those who find
themselves similarly hosed by the choices of trainers/educators using
default packages on Ubuntu, say (for mininet, this is still 2.2.2, not the
python3-supporting 2.3.0).

I'm not suggesting the RYU dev team take on some egregious burden here, but
a cautionary note to those whose setup may require continued use of python
2.7 would at least keep the uninitiated from pulling their hair out. :)
