And i want to say thanks to package maintainers and other providers of S-nail! Here i want to mention particularly Gaetan Bisson and Jürgen Daubert who are with us almost since the beginning, through all those valleys! And not rarely Gaetan reported problems to be fixed, too. Thank you! Hilko Bengen of Debian, who thought about it and wants to continue his maintainership. Alexander Harm, "big Alex", who started maintaining a macOS Homebrew port and keeps on going. And "hello and thanks!" also to Jens Schleusener who manages to maintain the great Fossies.org software archive. Regarding S-nail it seems i had a bad last week 2016 and a bad first week in June 2017, causing three updates of the v14.9 series, iirc, but apart from that we made a significant step forward to being something useful. I finally have found time to work on S-roff, my GPLv2 groff fork. And i hope the year 2018, which sees the 40th birthday of BSD Mail on March 25th, brings OpenPGP support for S-nail, and S/MIME support for deeper structures along these changes (e.g., we could not `verify' a signed message on the old S-nail list because Sourceforge extended the MIME structure by the list footer).
