P.S.: the latter is a false statement. (I had that wrong; in fact i only have one remaining use case for .netrc after so many enforce OAuth, i have switched all GMail, Microsoft and Yandex accounts to go via OAuth. I do not use them much but for testing, anyway, and anymore.)
