The TCA - Train Collectors of America

I at one time was a member of the TCA. The York, Pa. TCA meet is the biggest
thing in the collectors world and I did it twice a year for many a year.
Believe me when I say there are very wealthy TCA members, including many
from the entertainment industry including Frank Sinata. As I'm writing this,
collectors of that level have already bought the locomotive! I remember one
of the top Disney Executives going up and down the isles with a shopping
cart and writing out checks on a desk like apparatus attached to the handles
of the basket, for like $4,500, and that was in the sixties.

And you think our "S"tuff is expensive?

My hearty Congratulations goes to our self sacrificing DISPATCH editor, Jeff
Madden and I'm sure Temp. Membership Chair, Stan Furmanak, for the
excellent DISPATCH Membership Directory that I just received in the mail
today. WOW! Also, those of you who wondered what the AM Gondola Covers
looked like, they are on the back cover of this issue.

"S"ee Ya,
Bill Fraley
