Hi All,

Here is a BLI M1b I just finished weathering for a customer.
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/billlane/BLI_M1.jpg I think it "dusted" up
rather nicely! (:->)

This is my first up close and personal I have had with a Broadway Limited
loco. I wish I had $1.00 for every email from the various train email lists
I almost read that were ranging from being mildly unkind to completely
thrashing BLI products, so I could buy some! Yes, there are a few small
inaccuracies like the modern boiler markers when it is not modernized, and
the tender slope sheet is in oxide red. But after spending a few hours with
this M1 today, I don't see how you can get a nicer piece for the money. Is
it as nice as a Key or Challenger model? No. Is it $1000.00 +? NO! For
sub-$300.00 this is one nice machine.

I wait and hope for the day when BLI makes something (Hopefully PRR) in S so
they will be truly appreciated!

HO. (:->) I will go to the Great Horseshoe Curve in the sky as an S
Scaler......

Thank You,
Bill Lane
