Hi group, This week was a big milestone in the PPSSW. We held a gold spike, ribbon cutting event on Steve Doyle's Burlington Route. At 8:00 with a full and noisy crowd of PPSSW'ers, Steve embedded the golden spike to the cheers of all. Champaign was poured and Then a VIP passenger train pulled by two F-3's was sighted approaching from the west. It snapped the ribbon and continued east. The VIP train made several loops of the mainline using a transfer track to create a continuous loop. Just to give everyone the opportunity to appreciate the great views that are being developed, Steve then turned the passenger train and ran Westbound. As the Champaign was drained, work resumed on the layout of Steve's new yard and engine facility.
I have been finishing up some Pine Canyon and Trainstuff building walls, they are both great. Keith, I have built very nice building using the DPM O scale pieces and would be very excited to have you make modules that would mate with them. Particularly if they have S Scale windows and doors similar to back alley two. Ken Z.
