Hello Dick -

I don't see the purpose in your recommendations. Who would be unhappy? and
why? I think it is unrealistic to ask the editor to repress articles unless
he has the approval of NASG. A few emails in the Yahoo list can't possibly
be a threat to S-mod. There are no S-scale standards for freemo. There are
no freemo s-scale modules built.

This article has been presented as an introduction to something going on in
other scales. Why should anybody in NASG be worried? If another system
might be more attractive than the present one why not let people choose for
themselves? A rigid and closed system will not provide for growth and
improvement of the scale. Even if some S-scalers built freemo modules it
will not make S-mod unusable.

The systems are not competitive in the sense that one will eliminate the
other. They will be complementary in the same way that hirail and scale are
complementary. Both can be popular and strong. If S-scale Freemo ever
becomes large enough to make a difference it will probably draw more people
into the scale - it will not drive any away. No hardware will be rendered
obsolete.

There is no reason for anyone to fight or fear Freemo.
