I went with #5's when I moved over from HO because I had a BIG stock of them
and had heard that they were also used in S. The only equipment I have that
use 802's are cars or locos that I may have bought second hand and already had
them installed. Since I don't have an operaing layout yet, I'm in no rush to
change them out.

When I set up my U-boat pair I was concerned about close coupling so I used
#26's which have a slightly longer shank but use the same spring as the #5.

For PRS cars, I installed the box portion on the car body but then mounted the
#5's in their own box (with a single screw) with the ears cut off and then
mounted that assembly inside the PRS box.
