Several of us have been discussing the need for a railer/rerailer "gizmo" for S Scale. Some want one for feeding cars onto the track, a "railer". Granted you can do this "by hand" but wouldn't you rather spend your time running trains?
Others would like one to use as a "rerailer to get that RARE derailed inservice car back on track while the train is moving. Somehow, even those of us with perfect track get an occasional derailment. (Yeah right. I've got perfect track!) One suggested converting one from HO. Has anyone done this and could give us a report? Another mentioned having seen an article on how to make one but doesn't recall where he saw it? Can anyone tell us wher this was? I suspect two different "gizmos" are in order here, one for "railing" and one for "rerailing". Can YOU help?
