Not sure who wrote the comment below, but it is not the case if you subscribe to the digest mode. REPLY and REPLY ALL automatically enters the source of the original message (in this case, S- [EMAIL PROTECTED]) in the "TO:" block. Forward leaves the "TO:" block to be filled in (to whomever you wish) and returns the whole message (or whole digest, for those using that mode), as does both of the REPLY modes. It would be a courteous and prudent move on the part of the sender to delete out the frequently repeated, extra, unnecessary, nebulous, extraneous jabber that creates lengthy responses. You can also option to highlight, copy, and paste just the text you wish to respond with and using the SEND function of the software you use for creating email. Of course, you will also have to copy the address of the Person or List in the "TO:" block. I find this to be the simplest in avoiding repeating reams of previous text that is not necessary to resend. My server happens to be Earthlink and that's the way it works with them.

To REPLY to the list, use REPLY ALL, to reply to the sender, use REPLY. I do NOT know if this works on all e-mail software, but it works on some of the most common ones.
