Not sure of the details, but the required number of reservations has been received, deposits have been paid, and the project is progessing. I assume tooling is being made as we speak, but you would have to check directly with Kaslo to get the facts. http://www.kasloshops.com/projects.htm Brass unpainted NYC 19000 series caboosi were imported from Samhongsa many moons ago by G&W Models of Syracuse, NY. Long sold out, they appear rarely on eBay and estate sales. If you gotta have brass, snap 'em up when you find one. Wood planked version AND a plywood Pacemaker caboose version also. I have no idea what the original price was back then (over 20 years ago), but it was cheap compared to today's brass prices. Prices now are probably higher for a used one than for a brand new one back then. A NYC bay window caboose was imported by River Raisin Models (via Overland Models) a few years back. Check their web site for details: http://www.riverraisinmodels.com/index.html Having fun yet?........Ed L. The poll results are in.......
