I bought the MEC Christmas Switcher with sound, in this case LocoMatic and its not DCC equipped since it has the red circle around the DCC with a red slash through it. I now also bought a Locomatic MEC F3 on EBAY with the same config except it has the control box where the SW9 doesn't. BTW.. I'm DCC Dumb.. Now... 1) Can I assume that only one LocoMatic Control box can control one engine? What does one do if they want to run 2 or more engines? 2) If the DCC plug is there then I can upgrade to DCC but what is the cost for the chip? Any favorites? 3) Is this going to cost me more in the long run and I should have just bought a DCC Sound equipped engine? Don't have a DCC system now. LeRoy The poll results are in.......
