Folks....An interesting phenomena is taking place. Now that Kaslo has
announced the full scale length S scale Budd cars/train will actually be
produced, it appears that a variety of modelers are taking a second
closer look at the car/window configurations to see what might be
useable on their layouts. Non-NYC folks, such as the B&O and MP, seem
like a good choice for the Slumbercoaches. Sleepercoaches were similar,
but not identical. I've gotten probably a dozen emails similar to the
one below all looking into how these Kaslo cars could be utilized on a
non-NYC railroad. Lots of interesting information. Might be nice if
some of this got posted to the S-scale list for the benefit of others.
Hint-hint! Anyone else out there want a Budd brochure? Ya gotta ask to
get one. Cheers....Ed L.
