Dear Roy,
    Vic Roseman did an article that appeared in Rail Model Craftsman a 
few years ago on detailing American Models passenger cars.  I do not 
remember if it was the full length lightweight (GN series) or 
heavyweight cars.

PS  Vic goes under V.S. Roseman when he does article.  It would be worth 
the search on the Model Railroad Magazine search engine.
