When rebuilding my layout I made all my curves superelevated (r60 elevated 2 degrees). It looks great! Not far enough along to operate anything yet. Will report later. (next winter) I am nervous as most model railroading books recomend against elevated curves, no suprise I learn everything the hard way. Super elevated curves are listed as an achievement item for NMRA civil engineer. If my freight trains crash I will just have to run several river raisen zeplers and jeddies atlantic. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jamie Bothwell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "S Scale List" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 17, 2005 2:42 PM Subject: Re: [S-Scale Modeling] Re: Car Weight and other factors
