Dear John,
If you are willing to do a Milwaukee Road Horizontal ribbed bay
window caboose, I hereby order two. If basic plans, etc. are needed, I
can provide these thanks to the Milwaukee Road Historical Association's
book "Rib-Side Cabooses" which includes plans.

I don't think a rib-sided caboose has been done in S. Even in brass!

Subject: Milwaukee Rd Caboose

>What the Milwaukee modeler is truly missing is the horizontal ribbed
bay window cabooses at ran the rails for 40 years. Unfortunately the
SHS caboose was normally used only on one route in the later years and
the AM's old style caboose painted for the road misses the boat also.

The extended vision Milw Rd Caboose as produced by SHS was used on which
Milw Rd line?

I should add that my Milw Rd interests extend only to Wisconsin and the
Michigan UP, plenty of choice however, there were over 1572 miles of
Milw Rd track in Wisconsin. My main interests are the lines in the
Northwood's; the line north of Green Bay, now operated by the Escanaba &
Lake Superior, and the former line running north from Tomah to Tomahawk
and Minocqua.

I wonder if there is any interest in Kaslo doing a Milw Rd horizontal
ribbed bay window caboose?

Best regards
