I have a Pennsy M1 with the blind driver. As stated by others it will drop off the rail in a sharp curve and of course it does not "rerail". I wouldn't recommend making drivers blind since IMHO this only works on curves which are very close to what a Flanged driver will make. I dont think the benefit is worth the trouble.
