Hello Lance....I think I have a couple of Trainstuff kits up in the
attic somewhere. I would be willing to swap them for some kit building
services from you. Do you have any particular favorite cars? Would it
have to be modern stuff or would older stuff be of interest to you? If
you are an experienced kit builder of craftsman kits, perhaps we could
trade you two Trainstuff kits in exchange for building one kit for me.
Probably an S Kinsman kit which is essentially like the HO Ambroid
1-in-5000 wood kits of the 1950s era. Let me know how all this sounds
and I'll go search my kit stash up in the attic. Thanks...Ed Loizeaux

Subject: Trainstuff waffle-side boxcar kit

The February Dispatch introduced us to Stan Furmanak, and showed two
photographs of a boxcar he had build. The kit was said to have been made
from a Trainstuff kit. I would like to learn more about these
kits--maybe purchase one if there is one out there that remains unbuilt.

Can anyone tell us about them?
How do they go together?
What is the prototype?
Does anyone have they would part with?

Thanks,

Lance McCold
