This is not directly related to the "S" list but I felt there are answers to my questions in the group. Our local municipalty (Imlay City) has received a grant to spruce-up the downtown area. One of their porjects includes the building of one or two platforms near the CN mainline, in the Downtown Depot District to allow photographers and train watchers a good, unobstructed view of the action. Trains pass by every 35 to 45 minutes 24 hours a day. I'm sure this has been done elsewhere and I'm looking for some input. The group is also considering instlation of a web-cam with interent access. I know this has been done in areas out west, BNSF comes to mind.
Any input would be helpful be it text, pictures, drawings, etc. Thanks, Dave Held To REPLY to the list, use REPLY ALL; to reply to the sender, use REPLY.
