I think Mike "nailed it". I'm in the hobby to build models, not just to "own" them. My goal is to develop my skill set and not just compete with my check book. I have around 150 "Sn3" unbuilt kits and 50 "S" kits, and no, I will never get them all finished and I really don't care if I do. I think I've built somewhere around 700 kits and most of them I sold.
