IN addition to the very nice Auroura model (which commands fairly high prices on EBAY when they trun up), Matchbox has recently had some very nice, scale White COE tank trucks. Winross produced the White 3000 COE for years in diecast metal, they are notnearly as nice as the other two, but OK for "scenery".
Don't forget Matchbox also sells the 1948 GMC COE truck in several froms. The cab is pretty good S scale but the van body is way too large and the rear wheels too wide. Fit an body from an older Hartoy truck and it should work well.
