I've added two photos of the Matchbox "1948 GMC" to the group Photo section - look at the end of the list.
The first photo shows the Matchbox truck as it comes (with the oversize van body) between to AHL van body trucks. The second photo show the same three trucks, but the Matchbox truck has been fitted with an AHL van body. There is also an S figure for comparison. You should be able to see if the model is "close enough" for your use.
