Another interesting and historical introductory look at intermodal
equipment of all kinds, including pig flats, can be found in Kalmbach's
INTERMODAL EQUIPMENT & OPERATIONS by Jeff Wilson. This is an 80-page
soft cover book with many photos and a complete run down of both modern
and steam era intermodal equipment. Quite interesting with lots of
photographs. I got mine free at the NASG convention as a door prize.
Thank you Altoona! Thought of BTS as soon as I found the pages
pertaining to 75' PRR F39 cars. Really kind of neat for my transition
era layout.

Cheers...Ed L.
