Dear Roy,
    Are you sure that BNSF mainline is close to 148?  That is almost 9 
1/2" tall.  I have been looking at prototype track plans for 30 years 
for all railroads.  The highest rail I have ever found was 8" (code 125 
or 0.125" tall) and the only railroad to use this extensively for any 
length of time was the PRR.
