These represent the collapsible type, required for "circus" loading.  A
person could get a few extra and assemble them in the collapsed position and
use them when carrying containers on the flatcar.  The only other thing
necessary for an all-purpose flat car would be the container pedestals,
which shouln't be hard to make.

I presume the "tire platform" is the part that raises the trailer for
clearance as it rolls over the collapsed hitch in the circus loading
process.

Here's another use for these hitches.  Remove (break the glue joint) the
trailer hitch on the SHS TOFC car and put it back on farther forward.  Add
another hitch behind it and you can carry two of the short AHL trailers.
This was done in the real world with flat cars of the SHS length.

And another use.  Remember when AM advertised a TOFC car, their flat car
with one of their trailers?  Apparently they dropped the idea, but now you
can do it yourself.  The side rub-rails shouldn't be hard to fabricate.  And
there's another TOFC car, to add variety.
