Guess I'm going to have to get my f units back out and listen again. Last time I ran them, IIRC they were very quiet. IMHO they ran quieter than the AM FP-7's which to my ear was very quiet and smooth. Maybe Charlie got a rare rock grinder from SHS because all six of the SHS engines I have are Kato quiet. Dave, I haven't run my SHS switchers with any other units. The F units matched very well together, F-3 and F-7 which were from two different shipments from China.
