Howdy Folks,

I just returned from the mall where I acquired some new livestock (well, not
actually 'live') for my trains. A store named Toyopia carries the Safari Ltd
line of molded plastic animals. The triceratops in the collection appears to
be a pretty accurate 1:64 scale animal. If it was good enough for John
Allen, I figure, why not for me?

Naturally, we cannot be sure about the colors. I may choose to paint mine to
better match a rhinoceros which fits a similar, ecological niche. I think
the one on the Gorre and Daphetid was black with a loco number.

According to the label and some other references, these things lived in the
Late Cretaceous. That makes them older than diesels, so, it might be
questionable to use them even in a transition era setting.

Enjoy,

Bill
