You have a good point. Here is another. I have just stopped my
subscription to Model Railroading (after over 20 years) because it no
longer has information I seek.

[1] It is loaded with advertisements for products and scales that no not
interest me.

[2] The articles seem to be mainly for beginners and biased in favor of
expensive solutions.

The benefits for me do not justify the costs.

I do expect to live a while longer and to be active as I do. Reading MR
will no longer be part of my activity mix.
