In 1955 I had one Lionel train set, a couple of Tonka toys, A BB
gun, Schwinn bicycle, and a few stupid baseball cards (includung
MM), AND, no S scale! I recall everbody had: One B&W TV, one dial
telephone, and one family car with an AM radio .
Today every body has a color TV in every room , more phones than
mouths to speak into them, and a vehicle for whatever occasion.
I still have just one TV (color of course), I added a touch tone
phone a couple of years ago so I now have two and I have one
vehicle.
I lost the Lionel, Tonka toys, BB gun , Schwinn and those stupid
baseball cards long ago. I now have S scale coming out of my ears
and even though I work full time I find the time to build more S
scale models.

But then; I live in a cave

P.S. I have a new improved bicycle and you wouldn't be reading this
if it twern't for my computer, my cave is... wired!
