Good Morning:
Merle Rice of Model RR Warehouse
(http://www.mrrwarehouse.com/index.html) has requested I create and post
this e-mail.

Baldwin Westinghouse Class B Steeplecab kits in S Scale are being etched
right now! Get your orders in! (Also O Scale.) The price is $129.95
each. This kit consists of the frame, short hoods, cab walls, and roof.
It does not include mechanism, handrails, headlights, trucks, trolley
poles, pantographs, etc. Just the bare shell. I have ordered 7. Merle
is taking orders for other S Scale kits as well.

SHIPPING charge in US for single kit $10. For 11x17 brick sheets mailed
in tube $5 priority mail per order.

                   and other detail parts.

                   Same as before.

#64-104 Baldwin Class E Steeple Cab body $_TBD
Same as before. For CSS&SB and IC

#64-72 Illinois Terminal Class B motor body $_TBD
                   Same as before.

#64-358 Brill 55 Motorcar body $_TBD
                   Same as before.

TBA PRICES depend on number of orders for first run. The D could be as
reasonable as the B with enough orders or as high as $175.00. The
Illinois Terminal and the Brill will be a bit more because of the roofs.
MRRW's target for all of these is "under $150"

More information on the steeplecabs can be found at
http://www.mrrwarehouse.com/MRW-Made/steeple.htm. Ignore the fact that
this documentation is for the HO version. The instructions are the
same.

MRRW is only etching as many steeplecabs as they have orders for. But
don't worry. If you miss the deadline for the first order, he only
needs orders for 3 or 4 before he does another run. Plus he can mix and
match S and O to get the 3 or 4. But not getting in on the first order
raises the price as the pattern work, much more than the brass,
determines the price.

Merle also asked me to mention their other S Scale products.

http://www.mrrwarehouse.com/MRW-Made/Structures.htm lists his S Gauge
brick, Tichy windows and doors (in S).

Brick sheet 7 colors, vert or horiz $5.00
Insulrick 2 colors horiz, $5.00
INSULRICK was the imitation brick asphalt siding applied to many
buildings pre WWII. "Black Mortar" and "cheap colors"

A brick sample is free with an order, for $1.00, or send an SSAE.

Model Railroad Warehouse also did the Kitchen Car that was released a
few months ago. They still have some left.

To order:
Use the website to determine the part number. Because this is S and not
HO, then either e-mail or call 1-800-672-8762 weekdays between 8 AM and
5 PM EST for reservations/orders only. Barbara has NO knowledge of
trains, so please refer all questions to Merle

observe Daylight Savings time)

Currently I have orders in for 7 B, 4 D, and one IT B! The first order
of Bs should arrive at MRRW just after Christmas.

Baldwin-Westinghouse locomotives in use TODAY in Iowa
-----------------------------------------------------
Iowa Traction Railroad 50 Class B
Iowa Traction Railroad 51 Class B
Iowa Traction Railroad 54 Class B
Iowa Traction Railroad 60 Class C

As there were only two Class C locomotives ever build and both ended up
on this line in Iowa, I plan to use a Class D as my substitute.
