Have you checked the 'S'cenery Unlimited catalog? I know some years 
ago they had passenger car roof stock made when Northeastern stopped 
making it. If not, Ye Olde Huff-n-Puff still sells wood car kits 
including this material, although that's an expensive way to get it!
