Ken & Co. (Dave Aanerud), Just a note on slowing Humyard cars which roll unpredictably.
A local club, New York Society of Model Engineers (NYSME) in Carlstadt NJ, have an HO layout which uses a pneumatic brake (retarder) just like the prototype. May want to contact them: http://modelengineers.org/ Best regards, Dennis Hultay Bloomfield NJ --- In [email protected], "Zieska's" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Been awhile since an update from the Pines and Prairies S Scale Workshop. Dave Aanerud built a new yard for his Osseo Jct layout. He built a front end hump into it and he is able to class cars by gravity. Balancing the rolling speed seems to be a challenge, not all types of car roll the same, still, it is neat and knowing Dave, he will come up with some super duper way of balancing the speed of the cars. Failing that, there will be a rash of damage claims from the shippers. > > Regards, > Ken Zieska Yahoo!
