I wrote to some of the eBay sellers that are advertising "S scale"
vehicles that I'm not familiar with.
I received several very prompt replies

Item: *1938 Ford COE Coca-Cola Delivery hot wheels HW S SCALE*

impushstart is the *seller*.

Front fender width is 1-3/16, Box is 1-1/4 x 3-7/16,Highth ground to top
of box 1-1/2, Overall length is 4-5/8 from bumper to bumper, Its made by
Hotwheels and they call it 1/64th, Thats all I know , Thanks

Sounds plausible for S scale, perhaps very slightly small. 1-1/4" wide
equals 6'8" wide, vs typical 8' wide for a large highway truck.

3 cm or 1 1/4 in. wide
thanks for looking!

A typical 6 foot wide pickup is 1-1/8" wide to be S scale. Therefore
this sounds slightly oversize.

Item: *REA TRACTOR TRAILER BY ERTL---S SCALE* (6033577562

trainbug47 is the *seller*.

Both the width of the trailer, and the width of the truck across the
fenders is 1-1/2inches, exactly. Thanks for your interest.

1-1/2" wide is correct 8 foot wide for the trailer. The tractor in the
photo LOOKS a bit oversize for the trailer though. If the price is
right, go for it just to get a short S scale trailer!!!! If the tractor
is right, that's bonus.
