Re: SF F7 B-units and polish...
I've been informed by Don T. that he has a book about SF Alco PAs,
with a picture of a crewman entering the center door of a
"brand-spanking-new" PA. I'm told there is a detailed reflection in
the polished stainless steel surface of the loco. Allowing that it is
reasonable to extrapolate the polishing practice to SF's F7s, I'll
concede that some Warbonnet F7s were that reflective.
So SHS's mirrored rendering of these famous diesels is indeed more
prototypical than I had thought.
I stand corrected.
