S Scalers:
I'm looking to model a 10 panel,3 bay, rib-side, open coal hopper that
the VGN used -- produced in the 1920's from a USRA 70 ton design with
center clamshell doors.
Eyeballing the offerings of AM and SHS doesn't look there's much to be
had in a rib side triple. I've heard that AF made some but I'd rather
not go that route.
So . . . is there a source I'm overlooking or is it time to get out
the Zona and start slicing up AM two-bays to make what I need?
Any suggestions or advice would be gratefully received . . . and
appreciated.
