Hi All,
For years I have dropped a few BB's into new jars of paint as I use
them for the first time. This helps agitate the pigment when I shake
the bottle. Recently I added a couple to a bottle of clearcoat, but it
seems that there may be a reaction taking between the paint and the
copper on the BB's. Has anyone else noted this? Could there be a
reaction taking place in the colored paint, but I just don't see it as
readily as with the clear? Should I use Daisy BB's. (No copper)
Additionally, I have been having some off list discussion about the
shelf life of modern paint, It seems the acrylics have a shorter shelf
life, but has any noticed that Scalecoat paint bought recently is
drying faster in the bottles?
