Dear Bill,
Remember, all modeling is a compromise. When we had to supply
couplers for our F units as the KD-802 coupler boxes are too long, we
had to make a decision as to what exactly to make. The problem is
compatibility with exisiting products. And, with respect to the KD-802,
I bet there is over a million of them out there being used today. We
are of very limited engineering as well as financial resources, so for
us to design an entirely new coupler was really not an issue.
