Hi, I just want to take a moment to give Terry Putt and his "Putt Trains" a boost.
http://www.putttrains.com/ I have three Rex locomotives, [two Moguls and one Pennsy switcher,] they ran Ok, but most times were very sluggish. This past week I received a Can Motor conversion kit from Terry Putt and installed it this past weekend. Wow! What a difference Terry's can motor conversion made and the installation went rather easily. Not for the novice, but I really had very little problems converting it over. You must be careful to scribe your driver/axle as you have to put on a axle new gear and you must have a wheel/gear puller. Also, make sure when you place the driver back on the frame properly, or it will short out when placed on the track. One side is insulated/one side not!. Terry also includes a very nice instruction sheet. Yep, for $48.00 it is a good deal. Terry charges another $75. 00 if he installs it. Get those Rex Locomotives running again, give Terry a call.
