I recently purchased the new Branchline Flag Stop kit from Doug Peck at
Portlines Hobbies ( www.portlines.com ). I was easily able to complete it in
2 evenings and the results were pretty good for someone new to building
kits. The trim pieces are laser cut on wood backed with 3M peel and stick
paper which made it easy to paint and then assemble. The toughest part was
building the bench as the pieces were pretty small. The instructions were
pretty well written and had good illustrations. From previous comments here
it seems many of us buy kits and then never seem to get around to building
them. Maybe if they were a bit easier to build with the peel and stick idea,
more of them might get built. I'm hoping Branchline will be successful with
this kit and make more for us S gaugers. If anyone is interested, I can
email pics of the one I built.
