Hi:
I'm no expert in the fire safey code but on my layout the foam is mostly
covered with plaster etc so I can't see how it will burst into flames. And
if it did, it would probably be because my house was on fire and I would be
outta there. Can't think of many home interior instances where foam wouldn't
be covered. It is hardly an attractive sight.
