Chuck,
The first time I heard of G.C. Laser was at Destination Hobbies in
Libertyville, IL (Chicago area, lake country NE) I believe that shop was the
first, or among the first, to carry the line. The owner of the kit company
is in the construction business in Wisconsin, as I recall, and makes the
kits as time and enthusiasm permits, so I was told. Perhaps Steve Rosen
(sp?) at Destination Hobbies could help out. The kits make into very nice
looking finished structures, albeit not inexpensive.
BTW, the last time I visited DH train shop, there was a tiny amount of S.
But they are a well-stocked hobby shop and have lots of scenery-making stuff
and general supplies that we can use. And the staff is knowledgeable.
