I can vouch for 36" radius. I've run it around my layout, which
theoretically has a minimum radius of 36" (there is one spot I had to
cheat a bit). I didn't use sweeps to spike down the rail, so there
are probably areas where it sneeks under 36" and I think a few of my
turnout frogs ended up being less than 36". No derailments caused by
track work.

A nice touch is the front and rear drivers are sprung, however the
front driver is sprung a bit too stiff. As a result the middle
driver tires don't quite rest on the rail head and the 'cow catcher'
rides a bit high. This is a subtle thing, though, and I am pleased
with the look and operation of the locomotive - a satisfied customer.
