Paving brick is larger than the brick commonly used on buildings, but
not by much. Architectural Graphics Standard doesn't give a size
for "pavers". There apparantly IS no standard size. I was in
Cumberland MD today, a city that still has some brick streets and
sidewalks and measured some street and sidewalk pavers:

Smallwood Street: 8.5" x 3.75", laid with the long axis parallel to
the curbs.

Alley east of Smallwood Street: 9.5 x 3.5", laid with the long axis
perpendicular to the direction of travel, except in the center of the
alley, where drainage occurs.

Sidewalk at 100 West Washington: 9.125" x 4" x 2.75" in herring bone
pattern.

Sidewalk at Public Library: 8.125" x 4.125" x 2.438" in herring bone
pattern.

So, a preformed brick product with 1/16" x 1/8" bricks will be about
right for S scale, regardless of the scale designation on the package.
