What! It is suddenly OK to search out Marlin?
Several years ago, I went to several NASG board members about having the
NASG do something about all the orders not being taken care of by MMT Model
Railroads.
I was told, "He can sue us!" or "What can we do?" thereafter I received
mostly non-replies when I inquired.
Several years ago I had talked to Marlin Becker [He called me, Feb. 2003]
Marlin then sent me his new MMT catalog.
Also, if you check back to that time on our Yahoo S list, I also referred
several interested modelers to Marlin.
Never did hear how they made out.
Anyway, Marlin has had a very serous illness. I believe he also went through
some very serious family problems, mostly related to his illness. Presently,
I believe Marlin is regaining a more normal way of life.
As I'm writing this, I've just received Marlin's new home phone number.
Here is hoping we are still friends and he will return my call.
Yesterday, Stan [Furmanak] called me and suggested that he and I go on a
Marlin Becker search. I said that I would go along with Stan to do just
that.
So stay tuned, if there is someone out there in "S land" presently still
interested in buying ACE out, let me off list.
Who Knows, perhaps we can be of assistance, and perhaps Marlin would also
welcome the sale?
