Hi All,

It is good to hear Mr. Becker is getting better. Godspeed his recovery to
good health. However, the majority of the success of the Ace/Downs line
before Mr. Becker's purchase of it WAS Russ Downs. Imagine assembling,
painting and decaling a kit along the lines of Don Thompson's previous
company, Trainstuff. Now imagine doing that 50 times a week, week in and
week out. THAT is what Russ Downs did in addition to his former full time
job. Russ took hand built kit assembly further to a level of mass production
that would be difficult for most to maintain for any length of time.

I hope Mr. Becker proves me wrong, but I do not see the Ace/Downs line
return to the production level when Russ Downs owned it.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
