This invitation for the 2007 S Spree is the first of its type that
I've seen in many years. Congratulations, Central Ohio S Gaugers!
True, recent shows may have had NASG modules, but they came from a
local group. They were basically portable layouts. There were no
tables from elsewhere.
I wonder why the module concept has never taken off. I guess it takes
too much planning as far as set-up, lining up operators,
construction, somebody to take charge, etc. It's curious that the
NASG promotes module construction, but a true modular layout hasn't
been a feature of an NASG convention since Valley Forge.

* * * Notice to travelers * * *
Should there be any misunderstanding between you and our Agents or
Conductors, will you kindly do as they say, take receipt for fares
paid and WRITE the GENERAL PASSENGER AGENT at San Antonio, giving
full particulars, and he will do his best to render entire
satisfaction, consistent with good business principles.
Don't think that our Agents or Conductors are trying to get the best
of you; they are only endeavoring to carry out their instructions as
best they can. You know that a Conductor is often placed under the
most trying circumstances. While his train is running he is
frequently called on to act in the capacity of a Judge, Lawyer,
Arbitrator, Pugilist, Walking Encyclopedia and NURSE. He must care
for the women and babies.
We try to get good men; it is hoped that you will find them so.
