I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to reply both on and
offlist regarding modules and specs. All of your input has been
helpful in some way.

This topic wasn't supposed to be about which format is better - it
started as an inquiry into whether anyone was pursuing the Free-Mo
style outside of our small group (who really _did_ build 93' of
modules for the edification of the nay-sayers) here in the frozen
north.

Some people took the explanation of why our modules were _not_ built
to the S-MOD spec as an attack on the de-facto system. Simply put; S-
MOD _as_presented_ by the OFFICIAL documentation at the NASG.org
website (which we did, in fact, take the time to read) did NOT allow
us to meet our needs and goals - period. Doesn't mean there's
anything wrong with it; it means it just wasn't the way we wanted to
do things. This is equivalent to choosing a different roadname or
era to model in. You want to model NYC? = Fine by me.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

best regards,

ChrisA
